Automotive photographer

Hello! I'm Aimee Wotton a new dedicated photographer,  My skills in photography vary as I specialise in digital techniques but I also have started to learn and work with B&w film photography as I feel like this adds a new characteristic to my images. Through my lens I always try to tell a story showcasing not just an aesthetic appeal.
Growing up I was lucky enough to be surrounded by the Automotive scene, This is thanks to my dad's influence I developed a love for cars early on. His passion for projects, particularly his beloved drag beetle has introduced me to the appreciation for the work and dedication that goes into every vehicle. I frequently attend car meets and automotive events, not only to feed my passion but also to connect with a community that shares enthusiasm which is something I love to reflect in my work. Despite how my main focus does lie in automotive photography I am also open and passionate about other fields of photography.
My initial experience in automotive photography began during my A-Level photography course, where I devoted seven months to a long term project centred around both classic and modern cars. This project was a personal mission to challenge the misconception that classic vehicles are ‘outdated.’ It allowed me to highlight the dedication, love, and effort that owners invest in their vehicles. The success of this project has pushed my confidence and finalised my goal to make automotive photography my professional path.
As an emerging individual in this field, I am eager to embrace new challenges and continue improving my skills. I approach everything I do with dedication and a desire to learn, constantly seeking ways to push my creative boundaries. My commitment to my work is shown in the time and effort I invest in each project that i create.
