Dad's car

for this collection I wanted to do something that is personal to me. this project explores some of the history of my dads known and beloved VW fastback that was previously used as his family car growing up. The project consists of thought through images that show parts of the vehicles history, starting from its first ever owners road, the cars previous home and even a nearby location to the original dealership that has now been taken down. In addition I decided to photograph the fastback in its candid state before going out on photoshoots, These images consist of showing how it has been preserved and stored over the last few years. This helps towards implicating the sentimental value of the vehicle as it shows the amount of care that has been put in to protect it.
